Heat vault

Lend ETH to Heat

Heat lends this vault's ETH to traders, one loan per position, each no larger than what the coins it buys are sure to sell for. Every close pays the loan back in full, and every loan pays 0.5% interest up front: half of it is the lenders'.

What your ETH does

It backs leverage, never more than the floor

A Heat position puts up a margin and borrows from this vault; both buy the coin. The loan is never more than what the first that-many coins of the coin's locked launch curve cost, the least those coins can ever sell for, even if every other holder sells first. So a close always pays the loan back in full, whatever the price did. There is no liquidation and no price feed in it.

You earn half of every loan's interest

0.5% of each loan, paid when the position opens, for its 7 days. Once a day the interest is settled: 50% stays in the vault and raises what every share is worth, 40% buys and burns $HOOKING, 10% goes to the team.

What you give up: time

ETH lent out stays out until its position closes: at most 7 days, then anyone may close it. The vault lends at most 80% of its ETH at once and at most 10% of it on one coin, so part of it is free for withdrawals while loans run.

Withdrawing takes a day

Ask first. 24 hours later you can take your ETH, for the next 24 hours, from the ETH not lent out; after that the request lapses and you ask again. Your shares keep earning while you wait, and you can cancel the request any time.
