This is pre-launch: nothing is deployed on Robinhood Chain yet. The Kitchen's contracts are built and tested on a fork of the chain, with no external audit yet, and $HOOKING does not exist yet. Read this page as how the Kitchen will work.

Hooking · docs, drawn to scale

How the Kitchen works, and where every tip goes.

What you do, what it costs, and what you get. Every number on this page is a constant in the Kitchen's contracts, and every split is drawn to scale. Each colour is one destination and means the same thing on every chart.

Robinhood Chain, chain id 4663. Parameters v0.4, 16 October 2026.

What the Kitchen is

in one panel

The Kitchen is where coins are launched and traded on Robinhood Chain. Every coin opens in one transaction straight into its own Uniswap v4 pool, with its whole supply as liquidity that is locked forever. Buying is free and selling at a loss is free: the only trading fee is a tip of 10% of the profit when you sell at a gain. Every tip is split by fixed rules, most of it into buying and burning $HOOKING and the coin itself. Next to a plain buy and sell, the menu has two more dishes: Flambé, double or nothing on a buy, and Parachute, an automatic exit.

Launch1 transactionThe coin, its pool and its locked liquidity, with your optional first buy.
Trade0% or 10%Buy for nothing. Sell at a profit: 10% of the profit is the tip, the rest is yours.
Flush35/25/20/10/10Anyone sends the tips on: burns, the creator, the coin's liquidity, the team.

What you never pay

  • A fee to buy.
  • A fee on a sale at a loss.
  • A pool fee: the hook sets every swap's LP fee to 0%.
  • A tip on a profit you have not taken. The tip is charged when you sell.

What nobody can change

The tip, its split, the launch rules and the locked liquidity are constants in contracts with no owner and no setter. What one multisig can do, and how slowly, is in who controls what.

Launching a coin

one transaction

Open /launch, name the coin, pick its pair and sign once. That one transaction clones the coin, opens its Kitchen pool, puts the whole supply into the pool as liquidity, locks it, and makes your first buy if you asked for one. The coin is tradable as soon as the transaction is mined.

Supply1,000,000,000Fixed. The coin has no owner and no mint after launch.
Opens at4 ETHFully diluted, at the opening price. About 1 ETH buys roughly a fifth of the supply at the open.
Liquidity100%The whole supply in one position from the opening price to the top of the price range, locked forever.
Pair$HOOKING (the default) or ETH. You always pay in ETH: for a $HOOKING pair the app buys through the $HOOKING pool in the same transaction.
Launch fee0.002 ETH for a $HOOKING pair, 0.01 ETH for an ETH pair. All of it buys and burns $HOOKING.
Opening valuation4 ETH fully diluted. For a $HOOKING pair, 4 ETH converted to $HOOKING at the $HOOKING pool's 30-minute average price at launch. Until that pool has 30 minutes of price history, $HOOKING-paired launches are refused.
Your first buyOptional, inside the launch transaction, up to 5% of the supply (50,000,000 coins). ETH beyond the cap is refunded. Your cost basis is the price you paid.
LiquidityOwned by the locker forever. The locker has no function that removes liquidity or collects fees.
Pool fee0%. The hook overrides the LP fee on every swap.

The anti-snipe window: 5 minutes, 1% per wallet

  • For the first 5 minutes after launch, each wallet may buy at most 1% of the supply in total (10,000,000 coins).
  • The cap counts every buy by the wallet that signs the transaction (tx.origin), not buys per block: blocks are 100 ms, so a per-block cap would allow ten buys a second.
  • Exempt: the creator's first buy in the launch transaction, and the FeeRouter's buybacks.
  • Sells are never limited. Nobody is ever trapped in a coin.
  • Flambé takes no flips on a coin in its first 10 minutes, so a win's buy never lands inside the window.

What a trade pays

the win tip

Every Kitchen coin remembers what each holder paid for it: your cost basis. When you sell, the hook compares the sale with that cost. A buy pays nothing. A sell at a loss pays nothing. A sell at a profit pays 10% of the profit as the tip, and the rest is yours.

Buyany size, any time0%
Sell at a lossbelow your cost0%
Sell at a profitthe win tip10% of profit

Sell at a profit

You bought for 0.1 ETH and sell for 0.15 ETH. The profit is 0.05 ETH, so the tip is 0.005 ETH and 0.145 ETH is yours.

Sell at a loss

You bought for 0.1 ETH and sell for 0.08 ETH. There is no profit, so there is no tip: all 0.08 ETH is yours.

Both examples leave out price impact and gas. Profit is measured in the coin's quote: in ETH for an ETH pair, in $HOOKING for a $HOOKING pair.

Your cost basis, and what a transfer does to it

  • Your basis is what your coins cost in total. Sell part of them and that part carries its share of the cost.
  • A buy through the KitchenRouter gives you a basis of exactly what the coins cost. So do your first buy at launch and a Flambé win.
  • Send coins to another wallet and their share of your cost goes with them, so the receiver's profit is measured from what you paid. Moving coins to a fresh address and selling there saves no tip.
  • If that cost is above what the coins are worth now (at the 30-minute average price), the receiver is credited only their market value; you still give up your full share. A loss cannot be handed to a winner to shrink the winner's tip. Gains travel untouched.
  • If the price oracle cannot answer, the transfer still goes through, with no cap. The basis never makes a transfer fail.
  • A trade that skips the KitchenRouter, through an aggregator for example, still pays the tip. It only skips the menu.

Where a tip goes

one split, every coin

The hook holds each tip, in the coin's quote, until someone flushes it. The flush splits it the same way on every coin, and nobody can change the split.

$HOOKING buyback and burn, 35%. Buys $HOOKING in its pool and sends it to the burn address.

The coin's creator, 25%, in $HOOKING. It builds up for the creator, who claims it any time.

The coin's buyback and burn, 20%. Buys the coin in its own pool and burns it.

The coin's liquidity, 10%. Added as a band of the quote from just below the current price down to a quarter of it, owned by the locker forever: real depth for sellers.

The team, 10%. Paid to the team address, fixed in the FeeRouter.

A sell with 1 ETH of profit leaves a 0.1 ETH tip. When it is flushed, 0.25% of it pays whoever flushed, and the rest splits: about 0.035 ETH buys and burns $HOOKING, 0.025 ETH becomes the creator's $HOOKING, 0.02 ETH buys and burns the coin, 0.01 ETH deepens its liquidity and 0.01 ETH goes to the team.

The flush

  • Anyone may flush a coin's tips at any time, and earns 0.25% of the amount flushed, paid in the coin's quote.
  • Launch fees, Flambé's share of vault profit and Parachute's fee are flushed the same way, into $HOOKING bought and burned.
  • A part that cannot run now is carried, never lost, and the next flush tries again. A carried amount earns no second reward.

The 2% bound

  • Every buyback swap in a flush may move the price at most 2% away from the pool's 10-minute average.
  • What the bound leaves unbought waits for the next flush, so a big buyback goes out over several rounds.
  • No outside price feed, and no room to sandwich a flush.

Every burn goes to 0x000000000000000000000000000000000000dEaD and emits Burned. The events are on the contracts and events page.

Flambé

on the menu: double or nothing

Stake ETH on a coin instead of buying it. With a chance of 48.5% you win: your stake and an equal amount from the Flambé vault buy the coin for you, 2x your stake, and your basis is exactly what that buy cost. Otherwise you lose, and your stake goes to the vault. The house edge is about 3%: on average a stake of x comes back as 0.97x.

Smallest stake0.001 ETH. Every flip uses one seed of a finite chain, so dust flips are refused.
Largest stake0.5% of the vault's free ETH (its total less what open flips reserve), and never above the game's own cap, fixed when the game is deployed.
Per coin, per hourStakes on one coin in one clock hour add up to at most 2% of the vault's ETH.
All coins, per hourStakes in one clock hour add up to at most 10% of the vault's ETH.
Coin ageNo flips in a coin's first 10 minutes.
The win's buyMay move each pool at most 10% past the price your flip saw when you staked. What it cannot place is paid to you in ETH.

Commit, then reveal

  1. Before any flip, the house commits a hash chain of up to 10,000 seeds. Each flip takes the next seed of the chain.
  2. You add a seed of your own when you stake. The roll is keccak(seed, your seed, flip id) mod 10,000, and you win below 4,850. Anyone can check it with outcome on the contract.
  3. Seeds are revealed in order, and revealing a seed reveals every earlier one, so a reveal also settles every earlier open flip. The house cannot skip a flip it would lose.

If the house is late

  • Reveal deadline, 10 minutes: after that you, or anyone for you, can take your stake back.
  • The refund does not end the flip. When its seed is revealed, a win still pays the vault's half on top (2x in all, in ETH) and a loss lets you keep the stake.
  • While the oldest unrevealed flip has waited more than 2 minutes, no new flip is taken.
  • Long stop, 7 days: a flip whose seed is still unrevealed is paid as a win, in ETH.

The vault behind it

  • Depositors fund the vault and bankroll every flip. Deposit ETH any time.
  • To withdraw, ask first: the shares wait 24 hours, can then be redeemed for 24 hours, and then the request lapses. Only ETH no open flip has reserved can leave.
  • Profit is measured once a day against a high-water mark: earlier losses are earned back before any profit is split.
  • The caps are in the vault, which is immutable, so a replacement game can never raise them.

Vault profit: 50% stays with depositors, 40% buys and burns $HOOKING, 10% goes to the team.

Parachute

on the menu: an automatic exit

Parachute is an automatic exit: a stop that anyone can execute. You set a line and a floor on a coin's ETH price. Once the price is at or below the line, anyone can sell your coins for you, never below the floor, and the ETH comes to you.

Setline, floorBoth as drops below your buy price, for example 30% and 60%, with a term of up to 90 days. Buy with a parachute and it is one step.
Trigger5 min + nowThe coin's 5-minute average ETH price and its current price, both at or below the line. A one-block wick sells nobody, and nobody is sold after the price has come back.
Eject99.5% to youAnyone may send it. Your coins sell, never below the floor on average, and the ETH is yours less 0.5%.
Youpushed to your wallet99.5%
Whoever ejectsthe keeper's pay0.25%
$HOOKING burnbought and burned0.25%

Your coins stay yours

  • The coins stay in your wallet until an eject. You approve the Parachute contract on the coin once.
  • Close it any time, or simply revoke the approval.
  • An eject sells at most the amount you set, fewer if you hold or approved fewer.
  • The ETH is pushed to your wallet. If your wallet refuses ETH, you are paid in WETH, so no wallet can make an eject fail.
  • A sale at a loss pays no tip. A sale at a profit pays exactly the tip a direct sale would.

The rules

  • Term: you choose, up to 90 days, so a forgotten parachute cannot sell a year later.
  • If the sale would average below your floor, nothing sells and the parachute stays open.
  • A $HOOKING-paired coin is priced in ETH through the $HOOKING pool, so a $HOOKING crash alone ejects it.
  • The registry can stop new parachutes. Ejecting and closing always work.
  • The router sells a coin once per transaction, so two parachutes on one coin eject in two transactions.
  • Anyone may eject for the 0.25%, so bots keep parachutes working while you sleep. The Kitchen plans to run its own keeper too.

Its limits, in one line: it is an order and pays nothing back, a price that falls through your floor in one move is not sold, and like any stop at market it can be hunted by someone who holds the price under your line for 5 minutes.

$HOOKING

genesis: coin number one

$HOOKING is the Kitchen's own coin and the first coin the factory makes. It does not exist yet. Its genesis is one transaction the factory allows once, and like every coin it has a supply of 1,000,000,000, no mint and no emissions.

PairETH. $HOOKING cannot pair with itself.
Opening valuation10 ETH fully diluted.
Into its Kitchen pool900,000,000 (90%), single-sided, locked forever.
Team100,000,000 (10%) in an on-chain vesting contract: nothing for 3 months after genesis, then linear over the next 12 months, fully vested at month 15. The beneficiary is a fresh address named at deploy.
Team first buyOptional, up to 5% of the supply at the opening price, with the team's own ETH, inside the genesis transaction, disclosed on chain. Not vested.
EmissionsNone. Every $HOOKING in circulation comes from the pool or the vested allocation.

What buys and burns $HOOKING

  • 35% of every win tip, on every coin.
  • All of every launch fee.
  • 40% of the Flambé vault's profit.
  • 0.25% of every Parachute sale.

Each is a market buy, bounded like any flush, and the coins go to the burn address.

How the team is paid, all of it disclosed

  1. 10% of the $HOOKING supply, vested as above.
  2. The option to buy up to 5% of $HOOKING at the opening price with its own ETH, like any creator. Not vested.
  3. As $HOOKING's creator of record, 25% of $HOOKING's own win tips, in $HOOKING, the same rule as every creator.
  4. 10% of every win tip on every coin.
  5. 10% of the Flambé vault's profit.

Nothing waits for us

Every job that keeps the Kitchen moving is open to anyone: flushing tips and fees, ejecting parachutes, refunding late flips, settling flips past the long stop, settling vault profit, and putting a proposed menu item into effect once its 72 hours have passed. If our servers stop, the money stays where the contracts put it, and anyone can move it on by the same rules.

The keeper and the house

the routine work

The keeper

A keeper is any program that sends the Kitchen's open jobs, and anyone may run one. Ours is built: one process that ejects parachutes (checked every few seconds, and sent even when the 0.25% reward is below the gas), refunds Flambé stakes past the reveal deadline, settles flips past the long stop, settles vault profit daily, and flushes fees and burns. It is not running anywhere yet; the plan is that the Kitchen runs its own keeper at launch. Where a job carries a reward, 0.25% of a flush or of an eject, it goes to whoever sent it.

The house

The house is the one address that commits Flambé's seed chains, fixed for each game. It sees a flip's result as soon as the stake is mined. It cannot change it (the chain is committed), cannot skip it (the next reveal settles it, refunded or not) and gains nothing by delaying it (a late flip's loss is forgiven, its win still paid). It knows its own seeds, so it could play its own game against the vault; the vault's caps bound how fast, about 10% of the vault an hour. A second, independent seed holder would remove that trust, and is still to come. The house sends every reveal through a node it runs, never a shared public RPC that would see the outcomes a block early.
